Imagine you could take a photo of whatever you wanted, the subject could be anything, and the location could be anywhere without taking even one step outside or even picking up a camera. Just imagine the possibilities.

The capability to algorithmically generate photorealistic images of nearly anything you can imagine is no longer a future aspirational goal, it’s here now and it’s called Stable Diffusion.

What is Stable Diffusion? It’s a complex form of Artificial Intelligence called a “diffusion network” which when combined with another powerful image search tool called CLIP allows you to generate photorealistic images from text descriptions.

The results are nothing short of incredible.

Through the power of prompt engineering, one is able to produce everything from epic landscapes to even food photography, all rendered at high resolution (6-12 megapixel on average). Take the two images above as examples. The prompts for each are shown below and demonstrate how even small changes can result in radically different but equally amazing images.
